Ticket planning

How RailOne and UTS ticket fares are determined.

Railway fares can change by journey, service, class, and passenger details. Use this guide to understand the amount shown in the official app; the final fare is always the price displayed before you confirm payment.

What affects an unreserved ticket fare?

Fare factor How it changes the amount
Journey distance The origin and destination determine the distance slab used for the ticket.
Train and service type Ordinary, suburban, express, and other eligible services may use different fare rules.
Travel class The selected class changes the fare displayed before payment.
Passenger and concession details Passenger type and an eligible concession can affect the final amount.

Where to find the live fare

Select the departure station, destination, train type, class, and passenger details in RailOne or UTS. Review the fare on the confirmation screen before paying. This directory does not collect ticket payments or publish a substitute fare.

Start with the correct station

Search the station directory to open its UTS QR page, then complete the journey selection inside the official railway app.
